A unique capability and a reputation for excellence, Tecmotiv can now offer customers a one-stop convenience for the repair, overhaul, and supply of power train components for M48s, M60s, and their variants, which include bridge layers, engineering vehicles, etc.

AVDS 1790 ENGINES The NATO Maintenance & Supply Agency recently purchased M60 engines from Tecmotiv that the company had overhauled in accordance with US Army DMWR 9-2815-220. The company was then awarded another contract for the inspection and overhaul of other M60 engines. Tecmotiv has carried out a 400-hour endurance test that gave the company a unique qualification as a small-business supplier of these services to the US military. In addition to the 400 hour endurance test Tecmotiv has carried out and passed two 50 hour endurance test. Tecmotiv has all the latest equipment for performing the tests required by the DMWR. Because of its lower overhead, Tecmotiv can offer prices at a fraction of the competition’s.

CD-850 TRANSMISSIONS Tecmotiv is the only source presently approved by the US Government for the M60 transmission. The company can not only manufacture these transmissions, it regularly repairs and overhauls a large number of CD-850 transmissions and subsystems in accordance with DMWR 9-2520-223. Tecmotiv also supplies many new and rebuilt transmission assemblies and components to the US Army and other international customers.

FINAL DRIVES
Tecmotiv manufactures M60 final drives and can overhaul and test these assemblies in accordance with DMWR 9-2520-531. One of its principal customers for new final drives has been the US Army.

OTHER DRIVE TRAIN COMPONENTS & ACCESSORIES Tecmotiv supplies many other M60 drive train components and accessories. To mention a few of the new and reconditioned components regularly supplied by the company: Turbochargers, 650-amp Generators, Starters, Steer Differentials and Fuel Injector Pumps.

Tecmotiv is registered ISO 9001 for the design, manufacture, repair, overhaul and distribution of drive train systems, power pack systems, and components for military vehicles. The company complies with all NATO, US, and Canadian standards and specifications and has a US Government inspector resident in its plant in Niagara Falls.
